    The objective of this article is to plan the inventory system at Photoclub Flash, Commercial Division Hicacos, Varadero. The methods and techniques used are the bibliographic review, direct observation and brainstorming; in addition, methodologies resulting from the work of the national and international scientific community are used, such as the application of the ABC Method, supported by computer tools such as Microsoft Office Excel, EndNote X7 and the FC and ITS modules of WinQSB, which provide a scientific basis for the research. Among the main results include inventory planning, a description and representation of the process, prioritization of products (main product, cartons, etc.), and the products are prioritized (main product ink cartridge), the demand for ink cartridge (2 129.5 ml) is forecast and the company's order lead time is reduced to two days. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ink cartridge is one of the most important products for the company, since it is the most demanded product for the realization of the photographic process. Adequate planning of its inventory would require ordering every 13 days, with a total cost of maintaining units in inventory of 42.90 cuban pesos and purchase equivalent to 1 192.52 cuban pesos.

    Las urbes ecuatorianas tienen la posibilidad de desarrollarse a partir de sus potencialidades, identificando atributos que les permitan atraer inversiones, generar empleo y establecer una posición competitiva. Para esto, es necesario definir, las acciones y los atributos de notoriedad que las hagan reconocer como ciudad de oportunidades, para lo cual se desarrollan estrategias de marketing, que, posibiliten bajo el paraguas de una marca atractiva diferenciarlas en el mercado urbano actual. Es por ello que el objetivo del presente estudio es poder identificar cuáles son los principales atributos más comunes que utilizan los decisores para posicionar en el mercado nacional e internacional en ciudades ecuatorianas seleccionadas para el estudio. La metodología que abordó la investigación responde a un paradigma cualitativo de tipo revisión documental y del análisis de la presencia de las marcas de ciudades en las páginas web institucionales y redes sociales de ciudades seleccionadas para la presente investigación. Los resultados derivados permiten validar que un alto porcentaje de marcas de ciudades se centran en el sector turístico, sin que exista un proyecto con una visión holística sobre el papel de la marca en el desarrollo de las ciudades.

    Modelo de Pentahelix para la Educación Ambiental con Enfoque Comunitario
    (Centro de Investigación en Educación, Naturaleza, Cultura e Innovación para la Amazonia, 2024-07-01) ;
    This article presents a Pentahelix model for environmental education in solid waste management, based on a review of four previous technical studies. The main objective of this review is to present a Pentahelix model of environmental education from various perspectives. The findings indicate that centering the community in the interaction between academy, the productive sector, government, and social organizations generates more effective and sustainable solutions. The research uses a documentary analysis methodology to collect and analyze relevant information on environmental education programs, allowing the evaluation of the methods used in the reviewed studies. This model promotes the integration of scientific knowledge with local practices, encourages community participation, and supports the implementation of innovative strategies. The model emphasizes that collaboration among key stakeholders is essential for the success of these programs and for generating economic value in waste management. The Pentahelix approach is presented as comprehensive and adaptable, capable of addressing environmental challenges in diverse contexts.

    Ecosystems are currently at risk, and scientific methods have been developed to assess these impacts. In this scenario, the circular economy makes it possible to reuse raw materials and reduce waste. The objective of the research is to analyze the scientific production related to the evaluation of environmental risks in ecosystems with a circular economy approach. Quantitative research was carried out, with a retrospective and descriptive approach, from a bibliometric study in the SCOPUS database in the period 2014-2024. The peak of research was 4, where research articles predominated with 7 in 12 areas of knowledge. The most producing country was the United States. The most producing journal was Thunderbird International Business Review with 159. four research lines and their gaps were identified. Environmental risk assessment is much more than a legal requirement; it is an opportunity to demonstrate an organization's commitment to sustainability.

    Social responsibility is a key element in meeting the needs of the context in which an organization operates. In the healthcare sector, attention to this concept has involved studying internal aspects, as well as the contribution to its implementation in the management of processes and practices of the organization's agents. In order to analyze the relationship between social responsibility and hospital culture, a mixed study was conducted in two phases. First, a focused ethnography was implemented, followed by a systematic review study. The results showed a poor conceptual development of the category, the importance of organizational ethics, the values in the regulation exerted by hospital culture on social responsibility, and the need for the dual nature of social responsibility in terms of its design as an instrument or strategy of the organization. It is concluded that achieving a better operationalization of social responsibility is necessary for its reproduction in the hospital culture, as such responsibility must be promoted as an individual practice based on a solid worldview, and from this achievement, consolidated as a set of identifiable actions. Thus, quality must be a crossing in the design and description of the dimensions and indicators of social responsibility and an organizational value.

    Resumen La creciente rivalidad entre ciudades en el escenario actual marca nuevos retos en la planificación urbana, asumiendo el marketing urbano un rol fundamental, donde aspectos como la competitividad y el posicionamiento se favorecen. Este estudio propone determinar el posicionamiento analítico de una ciudad relacionando aspectos de competitividad y el constructo identidad-comunicación-imagen urbana. Se analizan: (i) la competencia y sus niveles; (ii) su imagen, considerando los índices de valoración e importancia y la correspondencia entre identidad e imagen urbanas; (iii) los atributos identificativos y la posición competitiva. Se utilizaron métodos cualitativo-cuantitativos, destacándose en ellos: la entrevista en profundidad, el método clúster, los índices de valoración e importancia de la imagen urbana, el ideograma e imaograma, la matriz importancia-valoración, y el mapa de posicionamiento. Por este motivo, se identificaron 12 ciudades competidoras de la ciudad de Matanzas, Cuba. Siendo agrupadas en tres niveles de competidores: superior, inferior y semejante. Se evaluó el posicionamiento respecto a los competidores superiores (La Habana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Camagüey, y Santiago de Cuba). Se determinaron como atributos identificativos: aspecto físico, patrimonio histórico, y oferta turística. El mapa de posicionamiento evidenció que Matanzas tiene una posición similar a Camagüey y Santiago de Cuba, diferente con Cienfuegos, y opuesta a La Habana y Trinidad.

    Ciudad inteligente y Ciudad circular: ¿Similares conceptos?
    (Universidad Tecnologico ECOTEC, 2023-12-30) ; ;

    ;
    El actual desarrollo urbano se basa en diversos conceptos. Entre ellos figuran enfoques económicos como el crecimiento (regional) y las teorías del desarrollo que incluyen factores como la evolución de la población. De la sociología proceden teorías que tienen en cuenta cuestiones como el avance de la globalización y la individualización de la sociedad en la ordenación del territorio. En este escenario, surgen nuevas tendencias como es la economía circular como un modelo de desarrollo que contribuye a la sostenibilidad y eficiencia energética y a la reutilización y reaprovechamiento de espacios públicos y privados dentro de procesos urbanísticos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo central reflexionar sobre la conexión de la economía circular con ciudad Inteligente.
